Precision Rollers/Troughing Sets

Our Precision class rollers are commonly manufactured from Seamless tube & have a machined Parallel or Crowned* finish incorporating quality precision bearings. Rollers are generally manufactured to customers' dimensions however the internal geomatry is AED's. AED also specifies the required crown to ensure belt longevity & optimal tracking.

Bearings are sealed (2RS) or shielded (ZZ) and available in a range of capacities and sizes to suit most applications. Tubes can be externally covered using Rubber, Polyurethane & Plastic in a variety of colours.

Troughing Sets both Fixed & Vary Angle:

Our Vary angle (VAT4 - see datasheet: troughing set vary angle) carrying sets have a troughing shape which allows greater amounts of material to be conveyed. These shape the belt to prevent spillage and are available with 20°, 30°, 40° 50 and 60° trough angles with equal or unequal roller lengths.

Our Folded Transom (FAT4 - see datasheet: troughing set fixed angle) sets also shape the belt to prevent spillage come with a 35° angle. All sets are generally on a 2-3 working day turn round.

Troughing carrying sets have 3 rollers supported within the base frame which is fixed to the conveyor structure. Normal spacing is 1 to 1,6 m. Steel Rollers have generally been replaced with Ø102 high density polymer rollers which offer increased belt life & significant weight saving without compromising strength.
